Backpack Ministry
Collection: July 28 - Aug 11 Both Campuses
Assembling: Aug 18 at 11 am DeWitt Campus
Assembling: Aug 19 at 10 am St. Johns Campus
This year, Redeemer will be helping local kids at SafeCenter and Bath, Geir, Sheridan, and St. John’s Schools through the Backpack Ministry.
Donations can be dropped off at both Redeemer campuses, through Sunday, August 11th.
We will assemble the backpacks at the DeWitt Campus on Sunday, August 18 at 11 am and at the St. Johns Campus on Monday, August 19 at 10 am – everyone is invited to join us. Volunteers are also needed to help sort items on Monday, August 12 at 10 am and deliver on Tuesday, August 20. Please see the #BeTheChurch sign up online.
Thank you to Gunnisonville UMC, St Jude’s Catholic Church, and 5 Star Physical Therapy Specialists for joining us this year to help make sure local kids are equipped and ready to learn this school year.

Each Backpack Includes:
- crayons (24 count)
- glue stick
- pencils
- markers
- heavy duty or plastic pocket folders (they need to last all year)
- pencil cases
- 3-ring binders (1 inch)
- wide-ruled spiral notebooks
- eraser caps
- pencil sharpeners
- large size backpacks
