Redeemer Church is looking for a qualified individual for the position of Worship Director.  This person is responsible for building, recruiting, and shepherding the worship team that leads the congregation in Spirit-led worship. This is a full-time position with evening and weekend hours required.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop, rehearse, and train volunteers for the Worship and Technology Teams.
• Provide instrumental and vocal leadership for all services of the church including special services to reveal Christ and proclaim the gospel.
• In conjunction with the Pastor, plan worship services and special music events including coordinating music teams, technical teams aspects, and visual elements.
• Support activities in areas of Kids Ministry, Student Ministry, and Adult Ministries by coordinating and supportive programming.

Requirements:

• A strong walk with God through a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field
• 1-2 years experience as a Worship Leader
• Knowledgeable in technical aspects of Music and Worship Arts, including online streaming technology and equipment, projectors, and components.
• Team player with effective relational skills.
• Ability to embrace the mission, vision, and values of Redeemer UMC.
