On the last Sunday in February, Redeemer raises money for Church World Service (CWS) Blankets for those in need.
To many of us, a blanket is often a possession we take for granted, but when an individual’s world is turned upside down, a blanket becomes a tool of survival for warmth, comfort, shelter, and security. From a mother sheltering her children, a hurting community devastated by natural disasters, or a homeless person --- Church World Service blankets are our chance to not only pray when we see these things but to know we have made a physical impact.
