Christmas GIVING TREE

The Giving Tree will be up in the lobby and ready for Redeemer Church to share some Christmas blessings starting Sunday, November 24.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

We will blessing 40 families this year with the Giving Tree! Each child will receive 3 gifts, adults 1 gift, 1 household gift per family, a family personal care basket, and a Happy Birthday Jesus celebration kit. All families will also receive a Meijer food-only gift card to help provide Christmas breakfast and dinner!

DONATION DROP-OFF

Giving Tree donations can be dropped off at either Redeemer campus through Sunday, December 15.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

If you are unfamiliar with the Giving Tree, the basic concept is:

• Clinton County families that need some extra help this year are nominated by service organizations and Redeemer Church attendees in October.

• Gift suggestions are coded, put on labels and hung as ornaments on the tree. Anyone can select a tag from the tree (for either gifts or personal care baskets) and shop for the items.

• Presents are wrapped by the donating family and returned to the church with the tag secured on the outside of the gift.

The gifts will be sorted and distributed to families. Volunteers are also needed to help move the gifts, sort and distribute, please see the #bethechurch sign-up for dates and times.
If you would like to participate but don’t have time to shop, monetary donations can be dropped off in the church office, given on-line, or through the mobile app.

Please note “Giving Tree” on the check or envelope and someone will do the shopping and wrapping for you.
