Grief is a natural response to loss, yet we often don’t feel permission to grieve. Rarely are we taught how to do this well. Join us for two informational sessions led by Rebecca Fitton, licensed professional counselor, that explore grief and how to support others in their grief.
Week 1: There are lots of different situations when humans experience loss and grief in life. It can come through the loss of a life, a relationship, or a job (and many other things as well!). We will explore common misconceptions about grief and learn about the stages of grief.
Week 2: We will explore how different losses can prompt complex experiences. We will explore how to look or ask for support when you’re grieving and how to support others who are grieving.
