How do I join Redeemer Church?
Take your next steps in becoming a part of the Redeemer family!
Membership at Redeemer is a commitment between God, the church as the Body of Christ, and the individual. The Participating Membership course gives prospective members an opportunity to explore, acknowledge, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through the church. There are five objectives:
- To provide a basic knowledge of the Christian faith
- To explore the unique history and theology of the United Methodist church
- To experience fellowship and growth through a small group
- To provide an opportunity to explore and claim individual spiritual gifts
- To investigate opportunities for servant ministry
Step 1: Register for Pizza with the Pastor. This lunch is held on a quarterly basis following the 11:00 Service. It is a casual conversation with the pastor including a basic history of Redeemer and a chance to meet others who are also new to the church. See times and dates in the weekly e-news or worship folder announcements.
Step 2: Sign up for Membership Classes. Membership Classes are held on a quarterly basis following Pizza with the Pastor. There are two classes to complete that are usually held on Sundays following the 11:00 service. See times and dates in the weekly e-news or worship folder announcements.
Step 3: Join the Church. Following the membership classes, a Sunday will be scheduled for the participants to take membership vows during a service. This is a special time of commitment to Redeemer Church and becoming a part of the church family.
