About Pastor Debbie
Debbie Thomas was appointed to Redeemer Church in July 2020 and became Lead Pastor in July 2022. She came to Redeemer Church with 20 years of pastoral experience at various congregations.

Debbie graduated from Taylor University in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a minor in Bible and earned her Masters of Divinity Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1999. She was ordained an Elder in The United Methodist Church in 2003 and has served congregations in Plymouth, Royal Oak, Iron Mountain, Bay City, and Alma, Michigan, during her career.

She finds great joy in helping people connect with Christ to let them grow in their faith through worship, small groups, and serving. It is her desire to present Biblical truths in a way that is relevant to our everyday lives.

Debbie has been married to her husband, Paul, for 20 years and they have one son who is a senior in high school. The Thomas family resides in DeWitt.

She loves to run, read, and spend time with her family.
